Alicante Henri Bouschet is a half-breed produced in 1855 by Louis and Henri Bouschet from an intraspecific cross between Grenache Noir and Petit Bouschet.
Aroma Potential
Gives a very colorful, fatty wine, often flat, generally lacking in elegance and finesse, with a beautiful bright red, sometimes quite rich in alcohol. It has been used for a long time and is still used to bring color to deficit table wines.
